Well atleast I think it is. My dad was on a lake and he was doing about 90 at WOT and then he heard a few noises and the sled died out on him. When he tried to start it up the revs would pulse from about 2k to 3.5k. The engine light was on and flashing. Thanks for any help.

Hi, just download service manual it will tell how and have the code # referance to what is wrong. it can be downloaded in the "frequently asked questions" above your post.

If the engine light is flashing there will be an error code that will flash where the speed is normally displayed. Just turn the key to the run position and see what happens. If you get nothing then try to start it and see if there is a code that pops up. What kind of noise did it make? Check the tightness of the chain in the chain case and see if something in there didn't come apart. Have you checked to see if you have enough oil in it also?

Found out what the problem was. Apparently when the shop did the oil change for us they didn't properly put it back, it just didn't fail till after 600 miles.
