Had a friend who has a Apex Mtn locally go ride the other night. I gave him a set of stock RX-1 weights and the sled ran perfectly at 10,300-10,500 rpm. This may be a cheap setup for someone who wants to ride the low elevation (flat lands).

I'm going to try and leave everything stock and just swap out the helix with a 51-43. I'll let ya know if it works after we get more snow. My sled did run great at 10-12,000 ft. Turned 10,300-10,600 depending on load. ===SRXSRULE===
Thanks Spec and Rules. I have the stock Apex (short track) in the primary right now, and a roller secondary. If I think the sec is acting up, I have a 51-43 to try as well.

Went for a ride last night and it quickly gets to 11,000 rpm. I'm sure I could hit 11,500 real easy in the day light. Looks like a need some weights
PS. 2 blown up 2 strokes in my shop tonight....LOL, oh how I dont miss that. ===SRXSRULE===
