Apex rear tunnel reinforcement.

I've installed both of them on the weekend on my '05 they fit perfect in the same OEM holes you have some holes to drill and really reinforces that rear part, took about 2 hours...let it snow!!!

Nice find Wolfie!... ;)!

Anybody have thier dealer do this yet. I guess even at 2 hours, it would be worth it. I too will be riding with saddlebags, and I am no light packer.

alot of the shocks on the 06 gt's are bad. if your spring is a shade of brown and oily - your shock is leaking and needs replaced. mine was bad from the factory - thats why the tunnels are bending from bottoming out hard all the time.

1 is left other is right side, I'm installing on my '05 just for insurance and peace of mind, make sure to order rivets to install them, they seem to be a odd size to get.

Those are NOT the part numbers for the reinforcement plates that come standard on the 07 GTs. Those are the part numbers of the stock reinforcement on all Apexes. Ask me how I know..... :o|

If you read the previous page you would of understood...here are the '07 GT extra plates 8FJ-21924-00-00/8FJ-21934-00-00 :yam:

Is this Apex only or Attak as well?

Yes does this include the 06 Attak's? Or do they have the reinforcement on the tunnels already?? :dunno:

I don't know if these will fit or work on the Attak.

Everyone I know runs 121s (at least everyone I know on a Yamaha).
