I put the foam type long pad on mine, where my foot goes most of the time. They use to make them for older yamahas, had round holes punched in them. I bought a set of them and used a utility knife and cut the holes to squares matching the holes on the floor boards and olny used half of the strip cause didn't want to cover the entire floor board. Running for 2 years now without a problem.

I did a similar thing...order the pads with HOLES in them for a 05 warrior...they can be cut with exacto knife into diamonds very carefully..
