This build on the running boards is going to be 100% done by me besides the welding. I don't weld tig but wish we had one. I have the materials already it's just a matter of getting a template done and getting everything
cut. I have so many ideas on how to go about it but can't deicide which route to go :/

My father has a mig welder and we build all our long lining equipment for fishing and I actully have a buddy that's going to tig weld all of this for free for me. my biggest cost is getting it powder coated after lol why are you worried about the rear cooler ?
The curve of the rear cooler will have to run down at the rear flap and then is essentially exposed to damage from sliding on the ground or bending during extreme wheelies or pogo style landings. It may end up OK but I would really stiffen and/or refab a rear bumper to be bully strong to help save this type of damage. Or cut out the tunnel to raise the height of the cooler and cap it to look nice? Dunno just throwing ya ideas that I had thought of with the cat set up. There's always more than one way to skin a cat though. Good work b'y

Yea true I see what your saying I'll have to check that out before I install it by raising her up with my highbeam winch, my only idea at the moment of strenghting the rear bumper is when j make the running boards the inside peice is going be round stock is I'll make it extra long to go into the bumper as far as I can while still having a bolt to go on through all of it. I thought of cutting the tunnel and doing it the same way the firecat was done but I was Afriad of making the tunnel weak so I was just going to rivet it on normally. Thanks for the idea about the bumper that's diffinetly going to work out great. The curve of the rear cooler will have to run down at the rear flap and then is essentially exposed to damage from sliding on the ground or bending during extreme wheelies or pogo style landings. Mine are already out because I put in 2" lug track on. Will the coolers get in the way like the old protectors would have? Not sure how much the protectors went down but the fab craft ones say they are 1/2" thick. Thoughts? The old u coolers would work if you took out tunnel protectors and put them there.

My question is how much space is taken up by the U coolers. If they take so much space as the protectors did this will be a no deal and back to the drawing board. Maybe a new tunnel with the U cooler installed. Or with coolers built into the railing of the footwells.

No not a chance, really thought I was tho, sealing is only a month away, and pre-season maintenance and gearing up for the fishing year is underway now. This will be a summer project for sure when fishing slows down in augest.Do you think you will get this done before the end of the season?
