riding on packed snow with crust on top, the apex just died like it ran out of gas, started right back up and moved 10 feet and then decided to tow to road and trailer home. a little background information the sled has 5300 miles, it was getting of snow on the heat exchangers. the sled starts and runs fine, doesn't miss a beat, when we dumped the trailer to back it off it died again, it only dies of it's now on level ground. my dad tried to drive it to the garage and when he sat on it the rear suspension squatted and it died again. one more thing when it died on the trail i turned the key to see if the gauge would tell me anything and it had 6 bars of has left in it, the engine light was on so was the temp light, and on the bottom it read out" Er-1" on the display, can anyone point me in a direction as to what is wrong with this sled? thanks

ERR-1 is a communication error code, I think.
Check all of your connections in the main wiring harness as well as the connections to the ECU.

i believe err 1 is the speedo sensor down on the bottom lh side of the driveshaft...my bet is the bearing went out and took the sensor with it

sounds like that to me as well....when full pressure is on the driveshaft the sensor is acting up...when its at angle the pressure is off...driveshaft bearing and maybe a sensor...

that would make since, i heard a weird clunking noise when it was getting towed back to the trailer, i hope the bearings on these things are cheap, just put new y pipes on and had the shock rebuilt because the mono blew out, and that was 1400 for that
