apex seat cover

i have a 06 gt apex and will need a new seat cover soon, it is a black cover with the grey stripe on the side, i see the 2009 red ltx apex also has the grey stripe but it says 4 stroke gen on the seat and mine does not, would like to have that , was wondering if i ordered the one for the 09 if it would work or if there were any seat changes as to where it wouldn't fit my 06? i think it would work? if anyone knows forsure let me know! also a part number or how to read the yami part number would be great so i dont order it and it comes with a blue stripe! thanks

2009 seat cover should fit a 2006. The 09 has a trunk does your 06?

06 apex was the first year of RX sleds with a trunk. The seats are the same

If you are ordering from a Yammie dealer call them for a part no. for the cover you want. Or call them for the part no.

ya was ordering off yamaha sportsplaza but thers diff part numbers for cover?just wanna get right colour!!

u think this is sumpthin i can install? or take to upholstery shop! i have a air stapler and have did some interier stuff befor on cars but if the seat didnt look perfect id be taking it to pros anyway! just wondering if anyone has attempted?

Check out some of the adds on kijiji that are parting out sleds. There might be one with a seat you need for a lot less money and hassle

There was a guy in London that was parting some 4 strokes out but not sure if he's still on kijiji. Maybe check with Todd at Total Recreations in the Barrie/Brechin area, or Bent Toys in North Bay.

This would be a perfect time to upgrade to a WRP seat if you have any interest in an ergonomic position that is much better for most people. I love mine.
They have black seats with blue stripe, red stripe, or no stripe.

ya , i kinda like the looks of the stocker especially with the 4 stroke gen on the side! plus i have the mtx riser on now and would like another 2 inches!! adding risers cables etc would be a must with wrp!

You don't need to change cables with WRP seat. I added 2 inches and reroute one cable. A friend has the seat and likes it.
