apex seat installed/cut tank

I am not sure but i think its the stock yamaha flap but trimmed off a little on bottom. With out taking the back of the sled off aain its hard to do pictures of the mod to pipes. Basically take a grinder to the flanges that are on the pipes and grind off the welds. After I removed the flanges I welded a new piece of flat metal on the pipes and aligned the caps and made marks on the steel plats to tell me where to drill new holes and weld new nuts onto the new metal plates . Not as easy as i might make it sound......had I known it in the beginning I would have kept the original covers and caps and not messed with it. BUT thats the fun of mods I guess and got some practice with the wire feed!!

hmm... i might just end up sticking with the rx exhaust covers and end caps since i dont have a welder. i guess i should have done a little more research on this mod lol
