Apex seat on an RX-1 Warrior??

I have heard of guys putting the Apex seat on an RX chassis sled. My buddy wants to do it, and is wondering what he needs to get it done. Is there anything other than the different seat as far as parts that he will need? Thank you for your help!

viperlover, the seat mountsthe same as the RX seat does. Some have trimmed the tank cover for extra clearence. the RX tail light fits in the same opening, the wire end might need to be changed. the biggest thing will be the height of the handlebars , you will need a riser in most cases. If you search this subject you will find many have done this modification .

I have done this mod to my sled and its a very easy mod heres what mine looks like.

We put a seat from a -06 Apex GT on my fathers -05 RS Vector.
Only modification needed was to trim the fuel tank cover.

Yes the trimming is mandatory. I bought another tank cover off eBay to cut, and so just in case I screwed up, I still had my stock one to cut even though I didn't want to, which thankfully I didn't have to, got it right the 1st time.

I put an RS Nytro on my '07 Vector, same difference as Apex seat on RX1 except taillight/harness is the same on the RS sleds.
