OK. Ended up with the Rox/Powermadd 2" riser from Royal. Unfortunately it was $105 with taxes and shipping!!!
Could have got it for about $15 less from my local parts guy, but they are back ordered through Gamma/Kimpex for 2-3 weeks.

Yes, they are stupid (price-wise)! But man, are they fast! Order it at 4pm yesterday and it was here by 11pm this a.m.!!!!!!
Always good in a pinch, but I do like to support my local dealer and small engine shop whenever possible.
Will let you know how it works out. Hope Santa is good to you. WB.

DoktorC,
Got 'em in yesterday and was riding this afternoon. Super-easy instal, good quality and great adjustability....Me likey! In combination with the apex seat, I think this thing just got a 2-3 year (min.) extension on life! Feals super-close to an Attack to me....
Quick tip - I wasn't able to use the stock 'cable retainer' thingy that holds the cables tight to the stearing post....I found it just didn't allow enough slack with a sharp turn, so I just left it off.

Warrior Beads,
I installed the Rox 2" pivot riser on my 03 RX1, works perfect. It is not too high and works better than the standard 2" block riser I had first. I also sell these and other risers, The 2" Rox is $69.95.
