I am looking at buying a new seat for my 06 apex gt and was wondering what options i have. Is it pretty much just the stock seats or is there any aftermarket manufactures? Thanks

mountain mod, in canada, nice seat about 2" taller and a bit firmer.
not cheap but good service from them.

I would just look for a rtx or mountain seat I just found for a $100.00

I put a apex mountain seat on my 07 GT. It has firmer foam so you sit up higher. The tail light wiring had to be modified which was a pain but otherwise a direct swap.

If you just need a replacement seat I have my 07 silver/black seat that I probably would sell for the right price. The seat is in excellent condition, no rips just two tiny scuffs from my trunk bag. You really need to look hard to find them.

Thanks for the replies, I am looking for something a little more firmer, the problem i have found with taking an rtx or mountian seat, is that the colors would not match. I mean i dont really want a seat that has red on my black sled.

The mountain seat I got on my sled is black and silver. The silver stripe was just a little different than my stock seat.

I had an auto upholstery shop replace my stock seat foam with a much firmer foam. They were also able to add about an inch in height. Still was able to use stock cover. Cost was $125. Looks and works great.

Check out Mountain Mod, Boss, Skinz. They all make a sweet seat for the apex, also if it is just the colour that is the problem you can dye the strip

Or take you current seat to a person than specializes in that kind of thing. Skilled ones can make you a better seat on your original seat frame for a new seat with stock fit.

Post on, or look on Snowest for a Boss seat. I got the flat top for my 06 last year and it is around an 1-1/2" taller firmer and flatter. Love it! Hard to find these, but worth it if you do. Probably going to be $300-350
