I did a search and didn't find anything but I am sure that someone has done this. It looks like the 2007 Apex snow flap is different than the 06. I am tired of having a reverse that I can't use. My flap gets stuck backing my sled off of my trailer. Do I need anything else other than the flap, do I need a mount?
Thanks
Thanks

The new flap bolts right up to the old bracket. I used bolts rather than rivits.

What year flap is that? Does it work better than the stock flap. Looks nice.

Be prepared for your back to be covered with snow while you ride. I'm not sure why exactly, but it happens to both RX-1's we have with the new flap. If your coat isn't waterproof, you will get soaked as it melts off.

Since I took that picture it got caught in the studs on the track, so I cut off the bottom 2-3 inches (I cut along the molded line). It does does leave a big cloud of snow dust behind me but I never had an issue with getting wet. I do have a good jacket though.
Can't compare it to the old style flap, it was shredded when I got the sled.

if you want to stop the flap from catching, add a strip of 1"x 3/16" aluminum under the flap mount (inside tunnel). this will add strength and will not allow your tunnel end to bend and cos the flap to wrap up on track.
