They are not that hard to get to. These engines are not 2 strokes. Fouling a plug isn't going to just happen. It'll take a long time to foul a plug unless your running super rich. Again these engines are EFI so running rich is going to be hard to accomplish as well. These engines run pretty lean in some spots in the powerband. I say good luck fouling a plug.

I fouled a few sets on -30 starts and no fun changing them at that temp. My o6 Attak calls for 8's on the belt cover. I just noticed that last year.

I was going to say I run them in my r6 and never had a prob with them at all I can go 3 yr on one set

had them in 3 apex s now and will be putting them in the 11 I just bought any plug will foul up over time if you don't let the motor warm up before driving or shutting it off right away after starting it is bad too...

I have been running the CR9EK plugs for years .i change every year to keep it fresh but you dont have too. just like the 10's but heat range of stock . you have to put on caps just like the 10's. make sure they dont spin off ,mess the threads a little and put on tite.great plug no issues.you wouldnt feel 2-3hp anyway imo..

Have them in my 07 since 07.... (10's same set) no problem. I start mine and let it do its thing , no touching the throttle till its warmed up. and no starting in the summer for 2 min then shut it off every week .. not very good for them.

Yes, you can foul them, and even though its efi, its not fool proof. First year I had my apex i put them in mine, I added exhaust and a few other mods over the following summer. Like a newb idiot I was starting it all the time when buddies would show up, or when I was tinkering with it. First time I actually went to ride it....wouldn't run. No spare plugs, only had the tool kit, so I heated the crap out of them with a lighter and got it to run -barely. Took some finesse to keep it running, but once the engine got up to temp it was fine. So yes, you CAN foul them if you don't let the sled warm up, or if you start it too much enough without letting it warm up.

This plug is basically a stock upgrade must IMO, there is a very noticeable difference in the throttle response and acceleration. The sled started easier as well. I used them all last season and never had a problem. I also run these same style plugs in my GS1150. They are pricey but worth every penny.
