Replaced my plugs today. Totally forgot to check spark plug gaps. Does anyone know if they are close from the factory. Cannot believe I did this!

I forgot to say, it is on an Apex. I really do not want to take them out again. If anyone knows the gap setting that the plugs come from the factory, that would be great.

They may be set to factory specs but you never know if one was bumped or banged that might have closed the gap. I would recheck them.

I dont plan to change mine until 50,000, but agree with last post, they should be fine unless damaged. direct ignition would run with electrodes missing altogether

Thanks Guys. I went ahead and checked them. They were dead on, but I now have piece of mind. As an FYI, the new ones were set at the factory at .028 and the ones that came out were all around .032
