Started the Apex today. I just installed a MPI supercharger. The
rpm seems to runaway when you bring up the engine rpms.
I started up the engine and let it warm up. I set the fuel controller and
started to bring up the rpms. All of a sudden, the engine rpms jumped up even after I had allready let off the throttle and it took time for the
rpms to come back down with the throttle closed.
The throttle doors are closing properly. Is boost pressure is holding
them open?

Do you have it on a stand or have the belt off?

First time it was without the belt, the second time on the stand. It did the same thing.

It's because there was no "load" on the motor. The controllor was sencing boost and adding fuel and with no load, it will run away like a frieght train. Same thing happened to me when I first put mine together.
