I have a clutched 01 SRX and a 05 RX-1 with the filter & clutch kit. That SRX suns like a MO-FO and I have not been able to run them side by side since the air kit, But the srx was spanking the stock RX-1 last season. But there is about 3000 miles on that RX now so I want to run them again and see. Have a trip planned for the week of the 30th so I will post what the results are when I get back.

I have a 1998 SRX, my son has a 2002 Viper, and when the RX-1 first came out, we lined them up, and just about ran even every time. The RX-1 did not impress me, so I didn't purchase one. I waited for the 2006 APEX GT (now sitting in my garage) After a Yamaha Test Ride on a Saturday, I went out and purchased one on Monday. Now we have four sleds sitting in our garage (the other is a 2005 Vector ), and we don't have any snow left. But they sure look neat all lined up in the garage.

Just ran radar run 800 ft. Buddy has bone stock 98 srx triple triple I ran my apex-gt. He has 192 studs on srx I have 144. Top speeds, srx 89.7 apex got 103.7. Beet the rx-1 by 3mph also!
the 98srx's are turds compared to 2000and up

Wow for only running 800 ft.that is fast all most 104 on the apex,hell i only got 104 on the gun on my 03 rx1 w/mods in 1/4 miles on ice radar run and several times it would go 102-103 only hit 104 once we had 00 and 01 srxs and 03 zr9 and 03 f-7s hitting 108-110 same distance,but they were hooked up..gregs30 said:
