Apex xtx & nytro at local snow drags.

Guys..1st off i was not at these races but a good bud/yamaha dealer was.
It was a huge race with 280 sleds entered.
660' on snow
Raced till 11 pm.

2011 apex xtx took 2nd in 700/800/1000 class. 40 sleds in each class
Running drag n fly weights.
Beat every 800 e-tech & lost to a 2011 800 X fire in these classes.

2010 nytro xtx took won 600/2nd 600 improved & 3rd in 700 stock.
Running 2 speed weights.
Beat every 1200 out there.
 
Wow ,that's impressive ! Especially in 660' ,,,any vids ?
 
this cant be possible as doos are the lightest and fastest thing on the planet. moderators should hide this post lol.

OK turk,do you now think the newer 2 speed vrs the dfw which one is running better top speed,and how do they compare thru the shift.
 
Can,t get the exact same sled to race itself with each different weight to compare...sorry.

Ok which one feels better up thru the shift,the 2 speed weight is a little more money than the dfw,i remember these weights breaking and having problems a few years back,i imagine randy has fixed the problem area.
 
seat of pants feeling is misleading. Need timers or race against another sled with both set ups numerous times

Man i wish they'd let me run in the 600 class. Im always in 700 no matter where i go. Damn isr rules screw me everytime.

That's because you are running in the right class. ISR rules changed this year. Nytro is no longer alowed to run in the 600 class. It is classed as a 700. So it should run in 700 class.

this was a nytro..sorry....bone stock too. You may want to check with CSBR racing to see how he has done against me lately.

Why don't you run your stock track and take off your Yamahacharger and tell me how you do? I doudt your results will be as you call it an annhilation. As far as a Nytro beating a 1200, I doudt it and you know it. Hell you even posted that on DT.
