hi ihave an apexer and my buddy has the gt model my question is if your exhaust donut is bad will you lose pulling power from midrange up through as he can gun his and be 5 or 6 lenghs ahead of me and i just keep pulling onhim and flie by him the same part of lake and i am running 118 he is doing104 and 105 his sled back fires some and when you put your hands over the exhaust pipes it does not stall and mine will stall in 2 seconds before we were pretty much even it seems to be pulling hard untill you get beside another apex must be the donuts or something else i live in woodstock n.b.

Last year my donuts were gone i didnt really feel any difference maybe a little louder ?
Well this season pipes were replaced with the yamaha updated stainless steel pipes.
Dealer changed the oil with yamaha lube semie synthetic and the chaincase oil. I replaced it again with full synthetic mobile 1 and shell full synthetic in the chain case.
My friends attak would beat me up all year last year pulling away 3 even 4 sled lenths .Yesterday i did what he used to do to me pulled away from him maybe 4 or 5 sled lenths.
So maybe the pipes and donuts have something to do with it ?
Never could get it much beyond 114 mph last year now on top im seing 115 to 118 mph on the average . last weekend got her up to 124 mph yesterday 125 mph !
