You guys are amazing in how you troubleshoot peoples sleds without ever getting a chance to touch them, Awesom. maybe you can help me also. 2006 Apex gt EFI.
I'm getting a code 14 before I even crank it, near as I can tell from the manual this is the sensor measuring intake vac pressure. manuel says clogged tube, tube fell off, etc. Not the case. What I don't get is how it can give that code before it even cranks unless it isn't seeing any return signal? I've read a hundred posts and repairs by you guys. I'm guilty of starting this sled 3 times a day for anyone that will listen, not letting it warm up. I didn't just didn't know!!! I assumed fuel inj. would handle it. Is it possible I'm chasing a ghost and just need plugs? I'm heading to ring out the P/W Pink and white signal wire, intake sensor to ECU. Any thoughts would be great for newbie 4 stroker. Thanks, Kevin

If you are wondering about the plugs, take them out and check them. That will tell you if they can handle all of your "false starts." If you want to start it up, that is O.K. But, let it come up to operating temp before you shut it off.
About the Code 14, Air Intake Pressure Sensor. Quite frequently, you get water in the sensor's tube and it freezes. Once it freezes, you get the fault code 14.
You can also test the Sensor by measuring the voltage across it. Take a look at the attached file.

Thanks
As I suspected it was the plugs, looked worse than some of the two strokes I blown up.. Code 14 gone right after start up it must be seeing proper intake pressure. On to the oil chang. Thanks again for all those posts, I will be warming it up every time from here on in.
