I don't get it. People still haven't got their 2020s yet, and they bring out new stuff already? I would be pissed if I snow checked a 2020. Side note, This isn't their full lineup, the rest will be announced in mid November.

I think showing that they are moving forward without releasing new tech to piss off current pre orders is one way to squash rumors they are going out of business or selling the division.
I don't think it is a "joke" and wouldn't' piss me off if I pre ordered.
It is not the "norm", but you don't change the direction of your company by doing the "norm"

I agree. If I was buying a new machine last year it would have been the ThunderCat. With their aggressive pricing it was one of the best deals on snow in my opinion. 2 friends of mine bought them and 1 bought the zr 800. I am curious to drive the iAct ThunderCat this year....And its not April 1st either!

By the sounds of this article, they might be releasing a few new models...I’ve been thinking for a couple years now on possibly making the switch to AC. They are coming out with some cool features and decent accessories. Craig Kennedy said AC would be number 1 eventually, I think he might be right as long as they continue to come out with new models, new features etc. Time will tell i guess...Here's another link that I found with some additional info on Cat's new 2021 program:

I would be happy if I ordered a Arctic cat 2 stroke this year ... no big changes again
As for Yamaha, it's a little disappointing that there wasn't more chassis updates for 2020 , and doesn't look like any major changes to the sidewinder for 2021 ...

I don't see any changes from Cat/Yam on 4s engine sleds. The obvious is that Cat looks to have dropped the 7000, so the Viper will be only game in town for a performance minded NA 4s. If Yam would bump that viper power up, I believe many guys would buy that sled as its a far better choice IMO then the 900t with iTC--"iffy throttle connection"--. Being a Non Turbo the Viper has always given Instant throttle response. Its a tad underpowered and a tad overpriced though IMO, so most opt for the Winder.
I think if YAM takes the reigns on these 2 models, fixing the driveshaft/bearing issue, tack welds or re-designs the roller tensioner, and comes up with a longer lasting upper gear bushing, these small fixes would go a long way to improving the warranty claims on these models. I also believe they need to offer the Qs3r as an option to all who want them, along with 129" skid.
Im working on a Cat RR here in my shop now, the 24/50 gear IMO looks more at home in this case and I see no upper gear bushing wear....the TEAM clutches are IMO a better overall setup. Ive rode this sled with its bone stock out of the box design, and it simply felt snappy as hell corner to corner, while my winder felt doggy corner to corner and needed a early spool tune to get it comparable to the cat gear/clutch combo for snappiness.
Id much rather see incremental improvements on the YAM models along with the lone Cat turbo(tCat) to fix the few issues, then starting over with a new gen chassie.

I'd imagine they'll do the same old thing too. Bet the chaincase and front drive issues never get addressed either. All the Cat problems are right there from the chaincase down to the front drive, easy fixes at the factory level, but no they just do the same damn stupid thing, year after year.
I really like that orange RIOT Cat has for 2021. Wished that you could get a turbo in those colors. Maybe Doo will up the ante next season and fix the 900t? Lets see what happens. You'd think Polaris would see the sales being lost for us four-stroke lovers.
