Has anyone ever put a Arctic cat TZ1 turbo on a nytro, would it work if I was building my own turbo setup? I came across a used one for a good price, but I don't know any of the specs of it or I t will work.

Go for it, make sure you post the build along the way. Sounds like an awesome idea...

I would do some research on the arctic cat sites to see what you can come up with for specs. What is the turbo good for on the AC motor?
The size of the motors is very close, 1100 to 1049.
It would prob work fine but that is just an assumption.

That would be a pretty cool idea.
Snowmobiler Television just did an episode on a guy building his own Nypex, so why not a YamaCat?

I'm trying to find model and specs on the turbo to see what it's good for. The TZ1 is actualy 1056cc, really close to a nytro. I just wanna build a 180hp turbo kit. Don't wanna touch the motor for now.

You might have better luck on the Arctic Chat or Hardcore Sledder forums if you are looking for specs.
Maybe someone there has already done it.
