Does anyone know if 08-09-10 spindles are inter-changable. I just bought a couple spindles and a think one is from an 08 and one an 09.
I can't believe how easy these spindles bend. I've bent 3 spindles this year and two of them I did not even notice until I got home. It takes a little impact from the outside edge of the ski and they are done.
I'm boxing these ones in before they get bent. A freind races for Yami and all their spindles are boxed in where the lower a arm mounts. They also box where the upper ball joint mounts.

Best bet is to try them on. Pretty sure they will fit.

I just went out and had a look at them side by side. Where the outer tie-rod mounts is different. Other then that they look the same.

Well I spoke with Yamaha tech and it sounds like I got the wrong side. On the 08 the tie-rod mount angles back-wards compared to the 09 and up. This might make it work on my 08. It would take a good eye to notice I have a right side 09 spindle on the left side of my 08.

I had an '08 RTX last year that needed a spindle and I had an extra pair of '09 spindles here. I did NOT put the '09 on the '08, the geometry is much different and the ski sits back further on the '08. I would get a '08 spindle. Lots of people are putting '09 front ends on their sleds, there should be a lot of '08 spindles around.

Its on for now. I got the right spindle on the right side. I had to screw the outer tie-rod end all the way in to get the ski pointing straight. Its the only thing I could do to get me riding..
If anyone has a 08 right side spinlde please let me know.
