are all tunnel protectors the same?

I'm looking for a set of tunnel protectors for my newly aquired Rage. The previous owner removed them when he installed a 1.5 paddle track. I'm going to a shorter lugged track with studs. I found a set from a Vector. I assume they will work seeing that the Rage and Warrior protectors did not extend to the tunnel extension. Am I correct? Would Apex/Attak protectors work too?
Also, the previous owner removed the front exchanger guards that were welded on. How do I go about replacing them???

I doubt that the tunnel protectors are interchangeable. I would think that the Apex and Attack are not going to work for sure. Maybe the Vector might work. Have you checked to see if the part #'s are the same under the Yamaha Parts Finder listed above?

I put on RS Venture tunnel protectors and the were bent so that they protected the front heat exchanger. Might buy those and cut them short to protect the exchanger on your rage. Just a thought.

I just looked them up and the Attak uses the same exact ones.
