As you know I installed them on mine.
I did it partially because a friend of mine experienced rapid hyfax wear on his 2005 Vector until he added extra wheels (he actually added not only the standard ones but also another pair of smaller Yamaha accessory wheels in front of the rear axle).
Prior to him adding the wheels his hyfax was wearing much faster than my 05 RX-1 (the 05 RX-1 has a monoshock suspension like the rest of the Apex line - the RTX is the only one with the ProActive). After adding them his hyfax wear was extremely good.
Also reading through the forums I noticed many others complaining of rapid hyfax wear with their ProActive suspension sleds (05 Vectors, 06 base Vector, & 06 Nytro).
I also like to ride on very long trips and I don't want to have to change hyfax during a 3000 mile trip.
Unfortunately your not likely to get very conclusive answers specifically for the 07 RTX since its the first year that combination of suspension and the Apex was put together and this season conditions have been so poor that the few guys riding might be toasting their hyfax due to a lack of snow.
Your best bet for info is probably (as I did) to read up on 05 Vectors, 06 base Vectors (non ER), and Nytros.

Extra wheel kits work! It's almost like Grandma's chicken soup. It can't hurt and in most cases wll improve Track and Hyfax wear.

I bought the fix mid wheel kit. Planning on getting the front wheel kit also.

I too am looking at adding wheels due to a buddy's sled having hyfax wear on his '07 attak gt.i am riding a '07 attak.my question is will the anti stab kit from slp work with the front wheels from fix. and if so are they needed.

I run a standard set of bogy wheels in front of the rear axle. Have done this for years on all my sleds. Don't know about the front wheel kit, but did read on here that when up to speed the track balloons in front, so wheels don't do much. I have no wear there. My wear is between the oem rear bogies and my low snow wheels infront of the rear axle. The front wheels should make track rolling easier moving off a trailer.
