Are you seeing excessive snow getting thrown when cutting flap

Hey for the guys that cut the bottom of your snow flap (where it says yamaha) are you throwing more snow or ice chunks to the guy behind you?
The reason I'm asking is that i'm on my second flap from running it over in deeper snow. I just repaired and renforced mine where it rivets to rear bumper and thinking of cutting the bottom off to shorten it a bit but don't wanna be throwing crap at wife when riding

I did mine and can't really tell there's any difference, my wife's viper with the ripsaw 2 is way worse and it has the full flap on it.

My buddy has an xtx with the 1.6 lug and when he cut the flap I noticed he would throw big chunks of ice

Talk to anyone who rode behind NosPro. I think he may have cut more than just bottom though. Only sled I ever rode behind that was worse was TD Max LE Manure spreader.
