Is there any way to identify which spring is which for the Kayaba Mono Springs besides using a scale?
I cannot find any markings on the spring, are the wire diameters different enough to identify them?
If you have to use a scale, does anybody have a easy method without a spring scale?

I'm not in the garage right now, but I'm pretty sure it has the numbers right on the outside of the coil

I cannot find any markings on the spring and have it off the shock in my hands.
I did measure the wire diameter and it comes in just shy (.001-.002") of 1/2 inch (.5").
I see that the stock spring is spec'd at .472" so believe this to be a big boy spring. However, I have also read that there are multiple sizes above the stock spring on a '06 Attak.
Can anybody offer any insight?
Is there a chart somewhere? The link on here seems to be broken.
Edit: The links are working fine for me now, must have a worksite related issue.

Hey sj how ya doin?
I didn't get an extra spring from you. Just what was on the sled.
What I am trying to figure out is which "bigboy" spring it is. There are of course more than one now.
Stock for the Attak should have been 5.5 kg/mm and there are now 6.5, 7.0, and 8.0 springs.
If I had the right Tech Update manual it has the wire diameter sizes for each spring. As long as they are all the same material it is the easiest way to identify the spring. I just don't have the data at the moment and am hoping that someone else does and is willing to share it.
I do have a question for you though . . .
Was the Mono shock revalved or is it stock?

If some one has data of wire diam. for different springs, I'd love to see it. I to would like to identify which spring I have.

Makes sense because I just measured a 5.5 to be 0.475 inch.
The one that came in the Attak when I got it from you is 0.500 +-

Can anybody look this up for me? Kayaba Spring Wire Diameters for the different springs offered. It should be in any recent Tech Update manual.
Help if you can, I have a buddy that needs to know what springs he has too.
