Picked up a used attak and noticed the cable was broke. Went to replace it and when turning the dial the spring seems to bunch up. But if a guy hooks it up opposite of the previous owners way it works perfectly fine. So whats the verdict? Was this cable put on wrong to begin with? This kind of suspension is new to me and I'm wondering if this is right or not. When switching it from soft to hard is this something you could easily tell by pushing down on the rear rack of the sled?

If you install the a new cable with the adjuster wheel in a different position than the adjuster on the shock you can actually destroy the shock. When assembling the adjuster I recommend you to do it by the book, if you need the service manual feel free to PM me.
