hey yall new to the site just purchased an 07 attak...what are you guys using for a bar riser....i could use about another 3 inches on top of the factory one...did you just add a aftermarket riser under the factory one or get a mountain riser...are longer cables needed with either one?? many thanks..

rox is a great set-up. especially the adjustable that allow hieght & front to back adjustment. i needed the mountain throttle cable to make mine work (fully extended) but many say you can do without.

We offer a variety of heights with our riser kits from Muffin Works. They are polished billet aluminum risers ... they are a functional pivot riser and look awesome! Our adapter block also allows the user to retain use of the stock chrome trim ring at the base of the stock Apex risers.

those kits all look awesome....anybody know if a 3" extra will fit...i have the factory 6" on right now....anybody do anything else cheaper....say such as a aftermarket bar riser under the factory one??

I just got my Rox 4 to 5.5 " pivoting riser last night. I also got the Yamaha mounting block which must have been designed for the 1993 and older V-Max line. It will not fit in the chrome trim ring. It is also tapped for the bolts to come up through the bottom of the steering shaft plate which will not work either.

I driiled out the threads and bought round allen head bolts, machined the the block to countersink the the bolt heads due to the taper on the top of the block. I installed an old RX-1 bar mount clamp in the trim ring upside down to set the Rox mounting block flush with the top of the trim ring and then mounted the Rox risers on top of that.

The net affect of the 2 blocks and the 5.5" fully extended riser is 3.5" taller than the 6" stock block on the LTX. I am going to see how much cable I have to play with tonight after I tear off the dash pod and work with the brake and throttle cables.

I will post pictures when its done this weekend.
