I am putting a Ice ripper on my Attak, and have never put a chaincase back on with reverse. Are there any things that I need to know before reassembling so I don't have it explode on me during the test ride.

Thanks,

Kirk

just take notes and your time.the is a little spring between the 2 small gears that you dont want to lose.also just line up the shift fork on the reverse gear otherwise it wont work.you'll see the slot once you have the case off.not to bad a job.

Can't help with the chaincase, but I had the dealer put the Ice Ripper on mine before I picked it up.

You will love it! Won't win any drag races on glare ice, but you won't be stuck at the bottom of an icy hill and you will have enough stopping power.

Plus, all road crossings are now smooth as silk and there are no holes in your track. Not to mention additional track weight and worries about tunnel clearance...

Good luck with the chaincase!
