I use SD drivers. Here those are half price than Yamaha/Whal.

-06 SD summit 800 HO uses 9-tooth drivers others are 10-tooth if i remember right.

There is a REALLY big benefit even for stock sled.

-Hyfax last longer
-More power to the ground...

Yes they are.
When you press new drivers on shaft make shure to support those from inner part (not outer surfase, will bend drivers)

We have the 9 tooth Ski Doo drivers in stock ($55 each) and can press them on and set them up correctly for $40 (+ return shipping).

Sledfreak, Internal drives are more efficent and for the most part have been around since the early to mid eightys, with the exception of the clip eating ski-doo formulas. freezie, the ski-doos press right on the yamaha shaft. Make sure when you press them on that the clip cutouts on the sprockets are on the outside. The ski-doos need NO EXTRA cutting or machining. The Wahls tooth profile on the external sprocket is not right and will make more noise if not relevied on the braking side of the tooth. The track will try to climb the sprocket cruseing or breaking. Thats why I will only recomend the Ski-Doo extros. Full clipped is a must for boost, optional for a stocker. If Yamaha would ever get the suspension geometry right they would never ratchet, even under boost. Mike Knapp#17

OH OH..lol

I have the Wahl 9 tooth extros. I have the set that also runs on the tracks inside cogs. I don't recal having anything done to them other than having Allen press them on for me. I'm also running the 144" X 1.5" Crossover track. pace three. No studs. I was told I really didn't need the clips in all the windows. My skid is a 136 Expert X set back 4".
This is on a Supercharged sled @10lbs.
