Went out today +6 degrees and went for a ride, stoped and every time I started her she would idel low and sometimes stop. I ajusted the idel screw and little to no diffrence. I also noticed steam comeing from the filter that goes to the motor and she only pulls 10,000rpm.

Think I found the problem with rpm loss, looks like the bushing in the primary face is bad.

why would the bushing cause low idle and stalling? and steam coming out of filter?

I'm going to guess that your exhaust donuts are done as well. Do the leather glove test. Mine did the same thing as your did with the idle.
I ment the top rpm loss, as for the idle it seem better today but theres still stem comeing from the filter. The donuts were replaced last year and I have about 2500km on them, but I will check to make shure.

where is your filter located? at first they had them directly out of crank case vent.

attack problems
My 07 attack has had this low idle problem all season, I have 9,000 miles on it. I have never touched the clutch yet but this could be my problem as well, going to rebuild it in off season. Also turned idle screw in about 2-3 turns to no avail. going to start tearing her down to see what's going on. Also I did notice this season that my crank case breather tube had fallen off causing oil smoke.

I think most people dont notice the smoke/steam from the crank case becouse the hose goes to the air-box and it gets pushed back threw the motor. When I instaled the yamcharger there was a small filter that goes on the end of the hose from the crank case, I dont know if its normal but it might be.
