Looking to replace the front suspension bushings in my attak. I’m seeing a kit with all 28 bushings made by spi for about $75 cheaper than the oilites from ulhmers. Just curious if anyone has any experience with the spi bushings so I know if they’re junk or not. Thanks.

I am thinking that the SPI may be the only choice going forward. The ones Ulmer & Yamaha sells (or... sold) were made by Mountain Performance who has been out of business for over a year now. I am guessing SPI took over because of that. I have one of the SPI kits to install in an 05 Venture. I have no idea yet if they will fit or last like the Mountain Performance/Yamaha/Ulmer kits.

Thanks for the info. I was doing some research today and asked some questions. Here is what the answer was back to me.
SPI told us these are bronze/steel not oil light..
So not sure what to think. I think you are right they are the only supplier anymore though

ULMERS are the best & are only a few sheckles more then the cheap stock plastic ones.
Your sled does not have grease fittings, and that is why the OILITES are the best choice for your sled.

That would be surprising if there were any steel (or iron) in them. They would rust.

I checked two days ago and it shows they were out of stock since December
I called him five times left voicemail no response. I need a multiple kits so I had to look elsewhere. That is good that he still makes them though

I hope people keep buying them so they keep making them. It sucks they get rid of good parts for no reason. It sucks for me because I already ordered some

MPI/Yamaha kits were made by MPI and no longer available.
Ulmer kits are manufactured by ourselves and were around 4 years before MPI/Yamaha ever offered anything.
I just finished inventory on Tuesday that brought all bushing kits back into stock. As with everything this year, we've had a struggle getting materials in a timely fashion. I ran out of stock on December 23rd and they are back in stock as of January 12th.

Thanks for clearing that up. I did not know that you had your own made and made an assumption.
