Attak Windshield & Hand Warmers

How cold/warm of a ride is the '07 Attak with the stock windshield? I bought the midheight windshield just in case. But I like the looks of the stock one.
Also, is there any concerns with the '07 hand warmers. Do they work good?

I had a 06 & 07 Attak. The 07,s are marginally better then the 06 but still not nearly as good as the rX-1,s were.

stock windshield looks cool but puts a ton of wind on your neck and face. mid length is the way to go.the tall shield comes with these dorky support brackets.i ran it without them with good luck but went back to mid length shield .the 07 hand warmers seem fine to me.

The 07 handwarmers are way better than on the 06 models. My hands never got cold last season. Most of the time I rode with the handwarmers set on only 2 bars.

I've found the stock windshield to be just fine. When it gets really cold, throw on a set of gauntlets.

i went to hand guantlets even after updating to the 07 bars.. they are tons better than the 06 bars but still nothing like the 05 and earlier bars..

I have the updated bars on my '06, a short black windshield, and no handguards. 1700 U. P. miles last winter and never been cold yet. Bottom line is you can set it up anyway you want, but you have to dress accordingly and based on the temps.
