Whats everybody doing as far as suspension adjustments go on a ATTAK GT ? when I get off the throttle it feels light in the #*$&@ end . It would make sense to lift the front limiter up ?

Noticed the same on my Apex GT. Thought it might be a result of engine braking since mine only does it if I completey get off the throttle

I feel its result of engine braking as well.... On a huge speed run I just dont let of completly until I know I can keep the track rolling under me.
I think in the loose stuff with the engine braking it actually locks the track up, and is what your feeling.

I know exactly what you're talking about and for some reason it just seems worse on Apex's that it is on other sleds.
When decelerating the limiter is loose so adjusting it won't change things.
It is triggered when slowing down and since engine braking slows you down quickly it can be more of an issue, but on other sleds I can brake using the brake at least as hard before the back end gets as squirly as it does on an Apex.
You'll notice a significant improvement by adding lots of studs. Even with lots of studs its still there though. A longer track also should be more stable, but I haven't tried it.
I think the biggest improvement could probably be seen by makng changes to the front end, possibly aligning the skis to toe out a little more or trying different skis. I know on my older Polaris sleds, having the skis toed in would cause this and towing them out would greatly improve the braking stability.

Guys , I have a 07 ATTAK GT with 162 1.345" Megabites , I cannot see how studded or not it will matter, or the Toe of the ski . Its a rear suspension issue , it must have to much rail pressure when decelerating , I just dont want to create another problem by fixing this one . Apex and Attak both do it and at high speeds can actually be dangerous .

It's the engine breaking. When letting off the throttle the engine breaking slows the track down too fast causing the track to slide on the snow for a short distance. If you ease off the throttle you will see the sled will not experience that condition.

I agree that it's the engine breaking. It takes some getting used to but after a few hundred miles now I actually depend on it.

I am with the Mrance and the Fireman, if you hit the brakes on the 2 strokes and they wt shift to the front, same feeling because same result.
I like the compression braking unless we are pushing it and someone is following close than I worry they will 'corn hole' me.

Engine braking.
Sometimes I forget to maintain a little throttle when letting off after a long run. Remember the track doesn't have to lock up to produce this effect, all it has to do is rotate slower than your ground speed. You will learn to adjust for it, also you will find that it changes depending on conditions which will convince you that it truley is engine braking causing this.
Have to get used to using the trottle and brake at the same time, it sounds strange but it actually works very well once you get it down. I rode an FX Nytro the other day and it felt strange not having the braking effect.
