Was out on a 170 mile ride yesterday. Sled ran good all day but after gassing up, temp light came on and engine shut down.
The part that has me wondering is myself and my buddy gassed up at a snowmobile dealer that JUST had gas delivered. He rides a Poo ETEC and his temp light came on and never went off shortly after getting gas. Mine came on right around the time his did but after it shut down, it never came on again. We were running a good hour after this started but my temp light stayed out.
I am wondering if something in the gas could make it run hot and his being a 2 stroke it was more noticeable?
Along these lines though, my other buddy gassed up there too an dhe had no problems.

Happens all the time.Run Isopropyl(red bottle) every tank of gas.
