Balljoint popped out now race stuck in the A-Arm

So I was trying to remove the balljoint from the lower a-arm and couldn't get it out. Well tonight the ball popped out of the race and the race is still stuck in the a-arm. Anyone have this happen and how did you remove the race? Looks like there is a tiny bit of lip was going to try and use a punch and hammer to see if I can get it to move.

If your going to put a new ball joint in you can always have a bead of weld on the inside of the outer race which will shrink the outer diameter of the race and cause it to probably fall out.

Yup, or weld something in the middle then press it out.

Can you get an air hammer on the edge of the race? That could work. Some heat to the A-arm around the race could expand the metal a bit.

And just to be sure, you did remove the circlip?

Yup removed the clip. Going to try a few things tonight
