I am considering a 136 track and extension kit from hartman for my gt, but I have also read some interesting things about the 121 x 1.5 . I am wondering what is the best value for money spent. i ride trail and occasionally off trail in the bush .I find the stock track ,while it works ok , it could use a bit more traction in the deeper snow
not sure about best value but i went with the 136....and love it

Well you say that you "I ride trail and occasionally off trail in the bush". Right ??? If you would have said " I ride off trail and occasionally on trail" I would say go for the 136. If most of your riding is on trail then why spend the extra money for the longer track and extensions if a 1.5" 121 will do you just as well. I personally have the 121 Freeride 1.5" and love it to death. Most off my riding is done OFF trail and the only reason why I went for the 121 Freeride instead of the 136 Freeride is that at the time my wallet was not that deep. Bottom line is if you don't need to spend the extra money when a 121 will work, "save your money"
