I've got a Monsterworks articulating riser. IMHO the most you can go up is 2", I rerouted my cables for best fit and have had no problems with the extra 2" rise.

Muffin Works has a kit that works great with the Apex. With our adapter block and 6" risers, you would end up with a total of 8.5" of total rise when measured from the top of the steering post. Many here have used this setup and have not needed to extend any cables. The Apex adapter block will also allow you to retain use of the stock chrome trim ring. We also have been a site sponsor since 2006.

What about the brake line. Has anyone put on a 6" riser and had to extend the brake line? Does anyone happen to know the length of a stock brake line? Thanks, Kyle

I fit the stock apex mountain risor on with stock length GT cables and it works fine, I had to re route the throttle cable but works great.
That mufflin works package looks awesome! I may want another 1" or two in the off season and will have to go to a longer cable then.
I "think" the mountain risor is 2.5" taller then stock I keep forgetting to measure as I have them both.
