Sorry to make another thread about this. None of them really have a definite answer though.
The best fix seems to be the 06 Apex bars. My question is which ones? Do they have to be original 06 bars or will the updated apex bars work? What about 2007 bars?

Original 06 bars work great, wish I woulda listened to Parkindale earlier in the year. The bars need a 1 inch spacer though to make them exactly like stock height.

Sorry for my stupidity, but I just want to get this clear. So can you buy these bars from the dealer, or do we have to find a wrecked sled. also when you say, "bars", do you mena like a whole completed assembly with the levers & controls and all. Do the wire harnesses just unplug for the bars?

I doubt you can buy them from the dealer ,but if you check around some dealers may have some of the take off's kicking around, all you need are the bars & yes you should also have a 1-2 " riser or just simply install the hand shield brackets upside down so they dont scratch the tank cover.2jzpgt said:

The grips are a self contained unit unlike the heating elements that are on the nytro bars. Also, they don't heat out into the bar ends.

just for clarification, the 06 Apex bars that will work on the Nytro are the ones that did not work on the Apex?

Correct, but when they upgraded the bars they also upgraded the wiring harness so If you were to re-install the original bars that came on the apex's they would work better on the apex's aswell.Doogs said:
