I currently remove the airbox to access the battery. Is there an easier method? Thanks-saltr

I would say No. That is the only way to access the battery.

If your looking for. Way to charge or jump the battery, there should be battery cables that are visible without removing the airbox

Not that hard. I did this yesterday and did not even have to take off the oil hose on bottom. Just use a bungie cord to hold up the one side and you can access the battery box.

Yes. I did yesterday. Still need to unseat from carbs but then gently lift out and up you can get enough room and not mess with the oil hoses. Lift from the side of motor with clutches.

Hopefully it works for you. I hooked my a short bungee from corner of airbox to headlight area inside hoodI will give that a try. Thanks alot!
