the stock battery part # is ytx14-bs & has 200 cca.
rotax,
that battery you found will not work. the odessy one. the width is to wide. its says it 7" & the most we can sqeeze in is 6 1/4" maybe. the stocker is 6''.
although i'd pay that price for those cca.

Myself and 8 other Yammi 4-stroke riders I know are using the Napa Glass-Matt battery. (Does NAPA exist in the US? I don't know)
Cranks WAY faster than the stock battery.
I paid (with taxes) about $120 CDN. Expensive? YES. Does it work? YES.

X2 Mike, Here is the spec sheet from NAPA on the YTX14-BS replacement.
http://ecatalograck.genpt.com/pdfcat/Po ... =nps09flx#
See page 20. The spec on the #14-BS NAPA AGM battery is 8.1 lbs. (wonder if that is before the acid is put in?)
I weighted my stock Yuasa battery. 10.5 lbs. Over a 2 lb savings.
No price listed on the NAPA web page. Must get pricing from your local NAPA parts store. I will report later as to what my local dealer price is.
