New to the forum but have been reading for at least 2 years now. You guys have answered so many of my questions but I'm at a dead end on this one. Has anyone made themselves a cord to power their heated shield off of a portable phone charger via usb cord? Charger puts out 2.1 amp and normally on a sled I run a 3 amp fuse so there should be enough juice there. The battery I'm looking to run has a 9ah capacity. Any thoughts? Does anyone make such a cord... usb to rca? Thanks!

Not sure if it would work but you could try this and operate it backwards then intended maybe?? Just need a double end usb cable to go from battery source to this adapter to rca.

I saw that and planned on that being my second attempt. Right now I have an old iPhone cord cut up and I was just about to splice it to my helmet cord but then wondered about adding a small inline fuse to prevent melting wires if i was to get a short somewhere in the wiring. And I decided I didnt really want to be cutting up my only helmet cord without another one on the way incase it doesnt work.
