That is one heck of a deal for a charger that can do all that and comes with the extra cables.
Got this one for $17 at Walmart. Not sure if there is much difference but you can select 1 or 2 amp and it did come with the lighter adapter, clips and a permanant pigtail. Thought it was really good for the price.

That one does not desulphate batteries and that is what kills them and why the optimate III and the battery minder are more money.

Do you guys think this is worth getting? I hear good things about the Optimate and Battery Minder and I'm thinking of getting one. I figure it might pay for itself by charging lawn tractor, ATV, and car batteries and maybe getting an extra year out of them.

I bought two last spring and left them plugged in all Summer. Matter of fact just unplugged them this week. Ran leads off the battery to plug in charger. It is a pain other wise just finding the battery to recharge it. I feel they are worth the cost in saving the battery and the aggrevation of recharging a battery.
