Installed my BDX steering post relocation kit with 4" rise, very easy install and a real nice product.

Always liked looks of those relocations, but seemed like with moving post more vertical it moved them to far forward, never got to sit on one tho, what's your feel with it?

Here is mine with only a Cr racing relocation bracket.
No riser It's perfect for trail riding and not bad in mountain.
I'm a 5.11" guys.

I haven't had it side by side with a sled with an OFT but it looks more vertical, it feels good sitting on it but I may have to drop the riser toward me a little...doesn't feel too far forward. I'll give an honest eval once I get some seat time. It is a nice piece and feels very solid.

How long and how hard was the install? Did you have to do any mods, cuts or lengthen any wires or cables?
How tall are you i am 62 and wondering which one I would need.
Thanks

Install was easy, 2 hours good instructions. I got the 4" rise and needed no extending just reroute the throttle cable to the front like the OFT. You do have to cut the post mount so there's no going back but trust me you won't want to. I would go with the 4"...I'm 6'0 and found it almost too high and dropped the riser down toward me a little, really nice position while sitting and standing. The use of the bearings instead of bushings has zero play. just a real solid piece. The riser is nice too.

You're going to want to fill in you profile...a Mod will chime in and tell you this...not sure what model you have if it is a standard model it has a flat post top...this will give you a pivot style post top like the RTX.

Have you logged some ride time to gather up thoughts on this kit?

About 2000 miles...wouldn't go back, a little scary installing because you have to cut the upper mount but it's not a big deal. with the other kits you have to bend the lower mounting studs...don't really like that. I have the 4 inch rise and im 6'-1" it's plenty of height. The steering on these sleds is on the heave side this puts your arms in a better leverage position and I never get tired arms. Ball bearings not bushings is really nice the post turns perfectly smooth.
I feel it's the best kit for improving the post angle, with the U joint it's the closest to straight up and down, you will feel the need for a higher seat or add foam to yours, I added 2.5" to my seat.

I've been highly interested in this kit, but have struggled with finding any reviews or pics of the setup. Thank you for the feedback! I was suprised to see the cutting that's required. That's when I decided to chime in and find out your thoughts

It's not that big a deal...if you want to go back after you can find the parts here or fleaBay...you won't go back!
