sorry for duplicating post but, cant' seem to find the original post. looking for info on the different kits out there (2009 Nytro XTX). i nderstand the Ulmer & Yamaha are the same, just wondering about the Pioneer kit??? and any other available. also any other front end items, maintenance work scheduled is as follows for this year:
FRONT END
-A arm bushings
-ball joint replacement
-spindle bushings
MODS
-BDX steering relocator (those guys are really helpfull with info with super fast replies, unlike the other company)
-Star Suspension XTX kit , re-valve, pull rods, reinforcing ring
-Roest vented dash panel
-yamaha M9 mountains skiis

I would consider the Roest skid plate as well.
A beautiful piece and in my mind the way Yamaha should have released this sled to the public from the beginning.
I know from personal experience what NOT having this can cost you when you hit things under the snow.

have skinz (toboggan) float plate with an aluminum pc under it, and muffin works a-arm guards.....tryin to make the fat b**ch float. but must admit the roest plat is a really nice pc

Good luck getting your flotation issue resolved.
The only thing I found that is guaranteed to help make this sled float is the joy flipper on the right side of the handle bars!
The only other option/mod I would suggest is the relocation of your instrument pod to handle bars. I got a bracket from Roest and it works out great.
