well I got the speedo bearing out very easily, set scews came right out and it slid right off. 8300 miles on that bearing and its still pretty decent but I will replace it anyway.

QUESTION!!

If the bearing looks good and has been greased every 2000 miles does it need to be replaced?

What type of wrench to I need to back off the locking nut behind the bearing?

It seems very very tight in there, is there a trick someone could share with me on how to do it??

Thanks in advance for the help!

aceltx09 is right use the spanner wrench and they make a tool that goes over the shaft at the end so you can put a 1/2 drive wrench in it to hold the shaft and loosen the nut
