While comming home tonight from our river lot we came upon three girls pushing an old Big Bear. I stopped to see if they needed any help and found that it was out of gas. You wouldn't believe this heap. Rear tire nearly flat, foot brake and foot peg hanging loose, seat ripped up, bars bent, hand brakes not working, shot battery. I turned the fuel to reserve and tried the rope. It didn't work either. We decided on a tow start and when I hooked a tie down to the front I found that the rack was ready to fall off also so I hooked to the frame. With my wife driving my truck I tried to bump start the beast. It would turn over but not run while in tow. I have no idea how that thing ran and got that far out of town. As a last resort we decided to tow it into town, about a mile. All three of them started to pile on the trash heap for the trip to town. I made two of them get in the back of the truck and we made a 10mph trip to their house.

I just can't imagine how any parent would allow three kids to ride a heap like that at all. None of them even had a helmet. I would like to rip the rack off that junker and beat both of the parents with it. Crap like that makes it bad for everyone

its amazing isnt it-at least you did the right thing and brought them home safely ;)! maybe its a small wake up call to the parents.it could of been a really bad person who tried to help them out ya know.good job ;)!

Stopping to help someone out is like paying it forward. Never did hear from the parents but what else would you expect letting kids ride on something as dangerous as that.
