Got the Vector out today and zipped around the field on the new snow. When at idle the belt will start squealing. Is there an adjustment or is the belt shot? It only does this at idle. Belt was removed for storage. Any help would be appreciated. Think Snow!!

I'm no clutch expert, but if the belt is new or very low miles, it should go away after a few hundred miles of break in..... If it's an older belt with some miles, it may be possible something is out of alignment (motor relative to secondary clutch) and it's binding, causing that sound.... Hope this helps.

New belts do squeal as you suggested. If after a few hundred miles you still have the squeak, then you need to check your secondary clutch belt height. You shim the secondary clutch to get the belt into spec. Belts squeal at idle when they are too tight against the primary clutch which means your belt will run high on the secondary. So, if your belt is sticking above the secondary OD, then chances are it is too tight.
Besides the squealing, tight belts are dangerous because they can engage at idle and the sled could freehwheel way on you...

Take out, or have your dealer take out the 3 tiny washer size shims, and your squeal will be eliminated.
Or just run it until the belt wears a little.
