Has any one tried the bender exhaust gaskets? I hate to replace them with Yamaha ones just to have to replace them again in a couple years. I'd post a link to them, but I'm not sure about the rules here for vendors.

I tried the Bender gaskets, and IMHO they were crap! They seemed smaller than the Yamaha OEM's and did not fit as tight. They only lasted 1000 miles. My previous sets (both Yamaha) each lasted 3000 +, and were in better shape when removed.

Have to say the exhaust gasket is a b.s. system. I bleed blue because I think Yamaha makes the best overall quality product and provides real world choices when it comes to snowmobiles. But, if you pay $11,000 to $15,000 for a sled you should at least get five years out of these donuts/gaskets. Also you shouldn't have to weld the exhaust either. Am l asking for too much? Really? And please do not tell me you have fixed the problem with a better system and raise the price another 20%. Sorry, normally have just great things to say about Yamaha but some things just make scratch my head in wonder. I replaced with Benders three years ago with no problems.

Any other opinions on the bender gaskets? Also does anyone know who makes the ones that Royal Distributing sells?
