After 5700 miles I have bend both LOWER A arms just enough so the bolts had to be sawz-alled out. Damage is not visible to the eye, but replacement bolts won't slide through. Anyone one had experience straightening the A arms? At about $225 each, I'm all ears here

i tried to straiten mine but wasnt sure if thet were straight or not, so i bought some new ones, it seemed to me after getting the new ones that my old ones were tweaked thats why i also had to get the sawzall out. if i had to do it over again i would buy cb performance aluminum a arms and i also installed ulmers bushing kit and it worked great.

I had the same problem and bashed the bolt out then proceeded to heat up the lower a arms to bend them back using a big vice. Came out straight but as the paint burnt off I bought a new one.

where are they bending? Or do the bushings not meet and align tight?
my bolts are very bent and will have to be cut out. Not sure if i will be able to get them back tight. I am ordering the oilight bushings from Ulmer. Is there a stronger bolt that will not bent every season? can i heat up the a-arms and make the joint tight again? Some one said that there paint flaked off. No big deal if i have them powder coated and weld on grease zirks. Any help or ideas appreciated

bottom a-arms are steel, top are alloy. Bottom one was heated and bent back into shape.
